Matthew is the founder and CEO of Quantum Heroes Fitness, a company focused on helping people like you restore a sense of sacredness and self-love to fitness programs that you love to do.
Matthew struggled with weight during his teenage years and with pain in his body from an accident at the age of 13 that sent him spiralling into low self -esteem and struggle with fitness.
He began losing weight at 18 through exercise alone and noticed the weight dropping off. But instead of overweight with low self-esteem, he became healthy weight with low self-esteem. He struggled to achieve an outer fitness that he thought would mean acceptance from the world.
It was only when he begun to explore the mental, emotional and spiritual influences on fitness, when he released the old stories and beliefs about himself, that change occurred at the core of his being.
Throughout 8 years as a personal trainer he has helped empower thousands through one-on-one coaching and seminars. He has worked with the Government of British Columbia as part of their ACT Now Program. He has trained hundreds of people through phone coaching from Canada, England, USA and Australia, and empowered them beyond their mental, emotional and spiritual blocks.
This journey was enhanced by his experience as one of the two GratiDudes, experts in Gratitude, featured on Good Morning America. They achieved recognition with their Gratitude Dance video, viewed now 340,000 times on Youtube and played at empowerment seminars the world over. It was through the marriage of this work and his work as a personal trainer that he has discovered his personal mission of bringing together a sense of sacred and fitness, in a world where quick fixes and gimmicks distract us from this soul adventure.
He continues to strive to be the best he can be in his fitness and treats the challenges as blessings as he pursues the physical activities he loves.
